As the first of our newly-launched masterclass series, we'll be looking at the GIS (Geographic Information System) integration piece, covering how our customers can put their content and consultations on the map.
Our brand-new portal provides an exciting way for citizens to engage with location-based issues, or discover relevant information relating to specific zones or locations via a full-screen interactive mapping experience.
The portal also offers the ability to subscribe to a location to receive notifications when policies or items relating to that area of interest are added or changed.
How can you surface information this way?
This masterclass will cover:
- How Objective Keystone can integrate with your existing GIS system to visually present your data;
- The configuration options available to manage your content and consultations through Objective Keystone, without the need to involve your GIS team each time; and
- The reusable components and APIs offered for your web team to use.
This new feature is in addition to our existing GIS capability that allows you to insert live maps into your documents to enhance the citizen's ability to explore the locations you are referencing, and discover more related information through access to layers you decide to make available.
