Position Overview

The Development Project Manager is responsible leading complex software development projects, delivering new products and features for release and supporting existing customers. You will also have responsibility for the management and personal development of a diverse team of 8 to 10 developers, technical writers and user experience experts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 8-10 software engineers, technical writers and User Experience experts
  • Plan, execute and successfully deliver software development projects, motivate and energise software engineers
  • Provide clear goals and context for software engineers
  • Work closely with our product management team to ensure that we are building the best ECM products
  • Continually improve processes and implement best practice in software development
  • Facilitate and contribute to technical architecture decisions

Competencies and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years project management experience, leading technically complex software development projects, ideally developing commercial software
  • Strong leader capable of building a highly creative and productive environment and reinforcing the Engineering culture of accountability and results orientation
  • Deep understanding of software development methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, XP
  • Ability to clearly articulate technical challenges, goals and solutions
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work with ambiguous or loosely defined problems
  • Strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive
  • Demonstrated ability work under pressure and achieve stretch targets in a fast paced technical environment
  • First class communication skills, great attention to detail and strong documentation skills

Technical Competencies

Position Overview

The Client Executive reports directly to the General Manager, Global Services, while working closely with the Sales team and the Regional Practice Leader. The primary goal of the Client Executive is to ensure ongoing Customer Success for their assigned customers as measured by Customer Satisfaction (Referenceability), Customer Retention (USP Renewal), and Global Services Revenue Growth.

Responsibilities

Customer Satisfaction. Ensure complete customer satisfaction across region through close engagement with the customer, timely resolution of issues, and continued value creation. Identify improvements to service delivery that impact on customer satisfaction levels and liaise with key internal stakeholders to initiate ongoing improvements in service delivery.

Customer Retention. Ensure that 100% of annual USP revenues are renewed by all customers in your territory, by ensuring that the customer is receiving adequate value, support, access to available upgrades and assistance under their USP agreement from Objective.

Revenue growth. Grow the overall services revenue in your region year on year, in line with half yearly and annual revenue targets. Ensure growth is maximized through active engagement with your customer base and identification of professional services opportunities.

Account Planning. Develop and maintain the customer account strategy and plans to ensure continued value is achieved by the customer through full deployment and adoption of the Objective product set and ongoing engagement of Objective’s Global Services offerings. 

Customer Engagement. Build strong ongoing relationships with clients, at an executive level, in order to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction. Work closely with customers to determine their present and future needs, continually seeking the opportunity to participate in client's strategic business planning process.

Proposal Development. Work with the Global Services and Sales teams to develop and present high quality business proposals mapping Objective’s solutions to well understood and defined Customer business problems.

Opportunity Management. Manage and Report upon all opportunities in your territory, using SalesForce. Ensure each opportunity is managed through the opportunity cycle and the customer needs are met with regard to timeliness, quality of proposal, and outcome.
