Objective's email capture technologies allow fast and widespread adoption of content and records management practices essential for an organisation’s compliance and knowledge management strategies with minimal additional training or extra cost.

They support both Reactive and Proactive email retention decisions.

Proactive email retention involves the staff member setting up rules in the mail client (where supported) to automatically re-direct incoming emails into Objective, based on defined rules. For example, any emails pertaining to a certain project as defined by the subject line or all emails sent from a certain email address can be automatically stored into Objective.

Reactive email retention leaves it up to the staff member to decide whether an email message sent or received should be captured into Objective.
