Objective Corporation (ASX: OCL), a leading provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software, today announced that the WA Public Transport Authority (PTA) has selected Objective to provide an enterprise-wide ECM solution to over 600 users.
The contract was awarded under the preferred supplier panel for Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) across Western Australian government (Common Use Arrangement 8005). This has the potential to be an AUD $2.3 million contract.
The Public Transport Authority provides a broad range of public transport rail, bus, road coach and ferry services to the public of Western Australia. The agency is also responsible for planning, design and construction of new public transport infrastructure.
The Objective solution will replace four existing legacy systems, providing a single corporate information repository that will underpin PTA’s information management and business processes. The system will store and manage documents, records and electronic objects and will be implemented enterprise-wide to more than 600 staff.
Ms Rosemarie Parker, EDRMS Project Manager, Public Transport Authority said the PTA sought a solution that would deliver the following outcomes:
“The Objective product will meet both business requirements and the legislative requirements of the Western Australian State Records Act 2000.” said Ms Parker.
Mr Tony Walls, CEO, Objective Corporation said: “We are delighted to be able to provide the WA Public Transport Authority with a complete ECM solution that supports their business needs. We look forward to continuing our close working relationship and helping the PTA to achieve its goals.
“With our expanding team and move to larger premises in Perth, this contract cements our strong commitment to WA and improves our already positive track record in the state.”
